Standard NHS prescription charges are set at £9.90 per item. If you pay for regular prescriptions, an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) offers significant savings.

Covers unlimited NHS prescriptions for a full year with direct debit options.
Official NHS Free Exemption Categories:
Aged 60 or over, or under 16 (or 16-18 in full-time education).
Pregnant women or mothers who have given birth in the preceding 12 months with a valid MatEx certificate.
Patients with specific chronic conditions (e.g. Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Epilepsy, Permanent Stoma) holding a MedEx card.
Holders of HC2 Full Help Certificates, Income Support, Jobseeker's Allowance, or Universal Credit meeting threshold criteria.
Prepaid 3-month (£32.05) or 12-month (£114.50) PPC covering unlimited NHS items.
